i got around to updating (: been busy so far...

let's see. fri was the only day of my hols which i spent at home resting. ie watching tv, playing com, sketching etc. heh i hav some really really nice sketches. will upload them another time (:

sat i can't remember what happened ): i think i have short term memory loss -- just ask viv n she'll provide you with all the evidence you need...

sun. ying came over for tuition. that horrible person ah, say got me tuitoring her, so don't need listen in class. plus she just started trig and the only thing she knew about it then was toa cah soh. no correction: she'd only heard about it, she didn't know how to use it. i'm going to kill her if she doesn't give me a distinction in her EOYs.. no actually complaining to her dad and my mum would be more effective. so ying if you're reading this, WATCH OUT.

was talking to viv over the phone that night and kinda lost track of time. not supposed to use the phone after 10, but at 10.50 i was still talking. so my dad banged on my room door. i thought he was going to scold me for talking on the phone but you know what he said? SARAH TAN GO WASH THE FRYING PAN! -.- yeesh.

mon. stupid mei wanted to pon school again. but she didn't (: career fair kicked off without a bang. lol our class was with 4m i think, in the ava room listening to this guy from lifeskillsenrichment ramble on and on... the only interesting/hilarious part was when we had this activity. a roll of musking tape was passed around, each gal tear off a small piece, write the name of a job and stick it on somebody's back. the person then asks yes or no questions and attempts to guess what job is on her back. that's how its supposed to go.

instead, we crazy people [i'm sure everybody knows that by now] wrote all sorts of rubbish jobs (: i thought of something really funny which i wanted to stick on bern so i was like bernice chan i chop your back! lol so she open her huge eyes, stare at me and ask why. i started laughing then bern was like i'm going to stick mine on you!

hehe in the end i wrote 'PRINCESS :D' and stuck it on her. cliche much, yea i know but i was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to guess it. i was right (: then car stuck hers on mei, which said 'stay-at-home taitai'. ju stuck 'business vehicle' on car. and bat stuck on inge 'jedi master' LOL! super funny. bern stuck 'mimer' on me o.o probably thought i talked too much or something. heh pot calling the kettle black -.-

i guessed my quite fast cos i'm SMART haha (: i figured out it was 1 word, 2 syllables, starting with M. haha 1st thing i though of was monkey. mei started laughing again. in the end i asked if it was that mime thingy. mei said yes. i asked wasn't it called mime artist, and that's like 2 words? mei said bern chan idiot ma. i asked mimer? mei said YES (:

haha after a while the guy asked who still couldn't guess. mei, bern and car raised their hands. the guy asked them to come out, show the rest their jobs, then start asking us yes no questions. haha bern went 1st. when the rest saw princess on bern, everybody started laughing. which made me start laughing. which made bern give me her death glare ): but they lousy la take so long. i think all of them guessed in the end except inge, who never watched star wars -.- and when bern came back she was like hello sarah tan you can't write princess it's not a job cos i'm already a princess! wtv.

today. we went to school in office clothes. mei ponned school cos she had nothing to wear and bern was like that cmy ah, how can liddat; stupid reason lor! i'm going to kill her! hahahaha :D the talks were quite boring; i signed up for medicine, accounting and audit, marketing and branding, private banking, entrepreneur.

first we had keynote address by this conductor of some orchestra. just as she was about to tell us what the pay was like i told ju [who was drawing] to listen cos they are freaking rich. whaa even i was surprised after that lor! hear about the pay ah, now i also want to be conductor! starting pay $2500 for 1 concert, which entails 1 week practice with the orchestra for about 15 hours. that means 3 hours a day! plus they don't work for more then 20 weeks a year [average is 14-16 weeks], and they get to get paid to travel the world! plus if you become famous and internationally renowned, it can reach a $700 000 - $1 000 000!!! ARGH UBER JEALOUS!

the rest of the talks were quite boring. except the entrepreneur one. the speaker was patrick liew. MY MUM'S BOSS. i was praying he wouldn't recognised me... he didn't thankfully, and i was thinking how lucky it wasn't his wife cos she knew how i looked ): he ah, tell so much rubbish stories and rubbish questions, mostly of no relevance de. but he was funny (:

he started off the talk by asking 'how many of you want to be famous? how many of you don't want to be famous? how many of you want to earn a lot of money? how many of you don't want to earn a lot of money? how many of you want to go far in life? how many of you don't want to go far in life? how many of you will not raise you hands no matter what i say?' lol at the last question a few people raised their hands. his talk was filled with rubbish questions like those. plus ah each time he asked a rhetorical question of which answer is yes, he would say hello? annoying much.

when i got home and told my mum about it she started laughing and asking questions and said it sounded exactly like him. especially the hello part. she said the office was kinda used to him saying hello already so didn't really mind it. heh. it was really annoying.

anyway. they provided tea for us! ie. catered a lot of food. so yummy k. i ate so much and then went for second helpings :D also was busy with my cam cos we didn't really get a chance to use it. i ran off to take a pic, left my plate of food there, came back and found my currypuff had a HUMONGUS BITE on it! STUPID BERN AH, start laughing again. hmph. she got nothing better to do than steal my food. being saliva-phobic, i made her eat the rest of it. haha rubbish dump LOL! wanted to go for 3rd helpings but bern was bugging me to get going cos we were going to be late for the next talk. sad T.T

ah, and i forgot to take a pic of me in viv's office jacket without my specs! T.T mishy said i looked nice, and like i was some professional person with a really high paying job, like a CEO. sigh. i didn't even get to see how i looked then...

talking of CEOs. there's something wrong with viv. she didn't want to lend me her jacket even though i was freezing, i bet cos she jealous :P she ah, say she must wear jacket, cos look like a woman of power [coughcoughcoughchokedie], like a COE. i was like what the heck you're a COE?! that's the cert people bid for when buying a car! stupid viv was like OOPS! LOL she's such an idiot! hard to believe she has so many cars while i have none.

and another annoying thing. my venues for the day was audi, chapel, audi, chapel, audi. climb all the way up, climb all the way down, climb all the way up and so on. so troublesome... haha and the chapel was freezing k, but the 2nd time i went there i didn't die. why? cos got bern sitting beside me HAHAHA! lol that's according to her rubbish... so sad the 1st time she wasn't beside me :D viv lent me her jacket then but it didn't help ):

on the subject of crazy bern. this morn when she came to class, she looked damn pro k, but she spoiled it cos she carried her stuffed giraffe along -.- and after our last talk, on the 3rd floor walking back to class bern announced her feet hurt, so took off her shoes and walked barefooted lol. oh and i luv her bag! or rather her sister's. she so mean k, don't want let me see it...

another crazy person is inge! just before assembly i was like inge i can see your bra damn clearly k, why you wear this translucent white blouse with black bra?! inge said no it's not black it's navy blue. like i care. she went on to say she wore that on purpose. i stared at her. she said cos liddat then look hot and sexy LOL! i think i died of laughter.
