twilight!

warning: spoilers ahead!

yay i went to watch twilight on fri~ i couldn't help but keep comparing it to the book tho that's kinda unusual for me. heh it just means the book was well written.

the movie wasn't as good as the book [DUH] and some of the special effects were crappy, which im convinced has tiny movie budget written all over it. i mean, a budget of US$37 million for a no.1 best seller? so not doing it justice!

but there were still a few cool scenes. like the baseball game. HAHA the part where emmett and edward crashed in midair was damn funny! yup and i also loved the final fight scene. except for the fact that the special effects were lousy. that part where james jumped over bella? fake fake and fake.

oh yea and after watching the movie i have come to a conclusion! i like james :P he's a damn complicated character. heh psycotic vampire? i like :D lol and yes, it has something to do with the actor being totally hot [so everybody agrees except for my sis! shes a weirdo] and his acting skills! it was so cool how he always had his head cocked to one side which made him look like an animal (:

hahaha and then there was this super funny part was at the end of the fight scene when edward and carlisle were trying to save bella and you could see 3 idiots dancing in the background around the fire and alice doing something which looked suspiciously like plucking james' head off :D

oh oh and now what i really feel like doing is writing a character study of james. but that means finding some free time [impossible, my life is crazy enough without something longterm], borrowing the entire twilight series to reread in detail [relatively easy, except for the fact that i'll need it for about a month ):] and then doing the actual work, which all i'll do is probably rewrite some key scenes from his pov since its the easiest way to do a character study [challenging, but that's the fun of it (:] heh i might as well just buy the books myself and do it whenever i'm free.

ooo that reminds me. i bet you guys are cracking your head over what to give me for chirstmas but since i'm such a nice person, i've made a wishlist to save you from thinking! it's very short actually, only 2 items (: and i know it's almost christmas, but these items are really easy to find.

1. if i ever want to get that character study done, i'm going to need the four books from the series (: and also because they are well written with a good amount of litarary devices which means i can use them as reference books for current/future writing projects. which means i do not want the online books, which i already have anyway, since i hardly get to use the com.

also cos after hearing my sis and me talk so much about twilight my mum decided she wanted to read the series too! but she takes forever to finish a book [think a few months] so i'd rather i have my own books then borrow from someone.. so first item, the books twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn, by stephanie meyer.

2. again books. the study trilogy, poison study, magic study and fire study, by maria v snyder. i'd prefer the 3rd book since i've read the other 2. well written, with a huge amount of possibilities for fanfiction. and if you ever want to know my writing style, read this series. the author's style of writing for this trilogy is so similar to mine its freaky!

oh and yesterday i want to a concert at mei's church with viv and ju! i think the title was the parables of jesus. it was quite cool (: then after that viv and i went back to mei's house and audied til almost 3 before we decided to go sleep :D

then today went for a christmas party at mei's church's teacher's house (: so sad la i only knew 1 person there other then mei and viv ): and cos we ate breakfast like 1 hour earlier, we couldn't eat lunch there ): but i did manage to get a few pieces of the yummy yummy roast beef in :D

haha then some guy brought his wii and they decided to play guitar hero world tour. got guitarist drummer and vocalist. then i watch and watch and watch, and became soooo sleepy due to lack of sleep ): then viv the weirdo say i know why you feel so sleepy cos that guy [the one who was singing] is singing a lullaby to you! and i was like huh but i can't even hear him singing? o.o and mei and viv both went donk -.- heh don't they know i'm like deaf?

yup and then we had to leave early cos mei had piano ): so her mum fetched me home (: and now i'm super super tired but i still have to wake up early tomorrow since i'm going to my grandma's house at 9 ):
