    you know life sucks..

when you are one of the busiest people in class and have totally no time to yourself.

when you stay so far from school and you have to take public transport everyday and stand for over 1 hour then brisk walk 15min from mrt to school and vice versa .

when you have to multitask during lectures ie listen copy understand explain to annoying people who keep asking you what the hell the lecturer is talking about and do tutorials of other subjects since you don't have any other time.

when you come home at almost nine three times a week and you're so freaking tired you just wanna bathe eat and sleep but you know you can't afford that luxury.

when your definition of coming home early is anytime before the sun sets and youre definition of super super early is anytime before 3 which never happens anyway.

when you spend about $100 on shoes shirt and shorts and train over 8 hours a week but you're not even competing.

when your weekends both long and short are burned off cos they're filled with activities from morning to night so you end up even more tired on monday.

when no matter how hard you try to get your full 8 hours of sleep every night you end up with but 6-7 hours and you actually fall asleep standing up in the mrt and almost topple over.

when you stop seeing and talking to your close close close friends from the previous year cos you just have no time at all.

when you feel so lonely deep inside and try to hide that by surrounding yourself with people whom you've met this year but succeed only for that instant cos its not them that you want to be with.

when you miss your old school and teachers so badly and have to go back to collect your O level certificate anyway but still can't seem to find any time for such an important task.

you know that when life sucks, all the more God is there cos you find yourself being thankful for all those small insignificant things like..

being super busy = taking part in a lot of activities = portfolio starting to look nice like having about 100 hours of CIP already even though only 2 months have passed

getting to use the time spent travelling stealing catnaps.

realising people keep asking you to explain what the lecturer just said cos they respect you and know you are smarter/faster than them.

learning to bathe and eat within half an hour which was previously impossible.

how even though your early is not exactly early it means you are not too tired and you have an extra minute to spare to climb up 11 floors instead of taking the lift which is quite slow anyway.

how people can see how dedicated you are to your sport and how much you want to compete the next year.

learning to plan your weekends so even if you are out morning to night you manage to squeeze in a couple of hours each day for your school work.

training yourself to sleep less so eventually you have more time and aren't the only weirdo who needs 8 hours of sleep a day.

all those little minutes you manage to snatch with you close close close friends and treasure them all the more.

realising you're starting to grow closer to your new friends and find that when you give them a chance they can actually fill that hole in you, though never completely.

how lucky you are to have been in such a fantastic school with such fantastic teachers and the deep impression they left on you.

    thanks God.
